Twilight's last Gleaming, 16x20 oil, by Leslie C Newman

"Twilight's Last Gleaming"
16x20 oil
By Leslie Newman

This painting is very special to me. It was recently juried
out of 350 fine art submissions into a 50 pc. Regional art show at the
Underground gallery, in Fayetteville, AR.
This annual show is sponsored by Artists of NW Arkansas.

I have made a definite change into my style of painting.
I am enjoying a much more abstract and free style.
This is a very freeing way for me to paint.

I painted it around July 4th.  When I was completing it,
The title came to me instantly from our Nat'l Anthem.

The perfect gold leaf from completes the feeling and warmth of this piece.

As of last week, It is now hanging for two months on the walls of
The Bentonville Visitors Bureau, on the square of
Bentonville, Arkansas. It is with a group of paintings
From the Plein Air Painters of the Ozark's.
I am a member of that group.

I hope you have enjoyed my painting, I sure
Had fun creating it!
